how to block a website

    hi i want to block a website on a pc that is using windows internet explorer

    i did a search and seen for using firfox but didnt see anything on using windows

    any help would be great

    sorry if its in the wrong please move or tell me where to go

    find the hosts file and put in a wrong entry for it , eg www.website.com and the ip address of your companys own webserver

    \windows\system32\drivers\etc is the directory , you may have to unhide it, edit it and hide it again .

    use k9 web administrator. free for personal use.

    can block anything.
