    Hey,

Just started this course aswell this year, done the introductory module last year though only signed up for the real modules this year. Looks pretty decent, good materials. Have heard plenty of good remarks about oscail and the courses are designed by top university heads so it should be decent enough...only 4 years to go....zzzzzzzzzzz

Some other threads from the archives - I'm pretty sure there are more about Oscail's courses - some complimentary, some..not so ;)

    Hi there,

Just a shot in the dark here.....

I completed 3 modules in the BSc/Diploma in management of Information Technology at DCU through Oscail in June of last year. I then went abroad to work abroad until recently so I deferred a year.
Im considering returning to the course and was wondering if there is anyone on here still enrolled who could give me up to date advice on

    (A) If its worth returning to this course as I found it to be light on computer programming and I found I had to do a lot of independent learning on programming using "for dummies" etc. and I dont have an IT background.

    (B) Which modules should I take together to lighten the work load as im working full time which I wasnt the previous year.
(Ive completed MS1, C1 and HS1 and have heard that HS2 is torture)

    Any help appreciated...... :)
