Just work through chapter by chapter...there bound to be in the textbooks. Instead of looking at them as things to learn off, look at them to understand fully, and you will remember them without thinking about it a lot.

I do both, but the definitions in business are easy, and not really that important. Once you know the general jist of it you'll be grand.
As for Physics.....ugh! My grinds teacher told me there's 108 definitions. How ****e is that. What book do you use? We're using Real World Physics and all the definitions in there are highlighted in yellow boxes. They should be highlighted in some way in your book too.

Edit - Just found this site:
    http://www.truephysics.com/students/definitions.html
Not sure if they're all correct, but there's about 108 there...

here is the best piece of advice i can give you. you know those tiny little red notebooks? they look like mini a4 copybooks that fit into palm of your hand (they have em in easons). get three of them, one for english, one for business and one for physics. for physics and business, spit each little notebook into the chapters in your book and go through the entire book picking out all the definitions. so when ur on the train take the little book out of the side pocket of your bag and just read through it. you dont even have to learn them off, just look through it nearly every day and by the end of sixth year you'll know every definiton on the courses. for english put in all the quotes from the texts and the poetry. easiest way to learn definitions. enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the NCCA's website of course!
    The physics page is here:
    http://82.195.132.34/index.asp?locID=475&docID=-1

    Direct link to the syllabus:
    http://82.195.132.34/uploadedfiles/PDF/lc_physics_sy.pdf

You can also download the guidelines for teachers:
    http://82.195.132.34/uploadedfiles/PDF/lc_physics_guide.pdf

(You can also buy these if you don't want the hassle of printing them out.)
