    I have come across this and it is incredibly useful. On the Russel Browne site he has a download called Dr. Browne's Services. It is a collection of useful tools for Photoshop and Bridge. One of these is a thing called Place-a-matic. I find I am using it all the time now. The best thing is that you can create two layers from the one RAW file and adjust each layer through ACR seperately. Using a quick mask on the top layer with this is really useful.

    Maybe this should be in Digital Darkroom but I'm not sure many people actually look in there lately.
