Besides a few farmers and a coupla PC plods...i guess not :(

    Heh only jokeing.

You be surprised how small the number of people that know the existance of airsoft in ireland is. And ontop of that some people who know about it dont kno about any of the boards. There out there allright. People who mightent have the internet exposour (man my spellings gotten worse since i got the flu....time for more "self medicating") you and I do.

I only found this board last october (2006) by chance and i had been "illigally" softing with springers for nearly 6 years previous! But thats not done anymore becuase we know it is definatly wrong and punishable by law. Back then it was a grey area and we kept out heads down. I still miss my old auto-mag *sniff* gone but not forgotten *cries into hot whiskey*

there was no grey area, they were classified as firearms, plain and simple, technically kids dart guns were also firearms, but we wont go into that

just be glad you can play/buy airsoft now, and please refrain from discussing anything airsoft pre august '06 on here, unless it was in a different country where airsoft was legal at the time :)

    Hi grstarkey78,

I’m West Kerry, living in Kildare, but I do be around for the holidays, let me know if you get something going. I’d say I’d get at least one more to go with me, give ye something to shoot at :)

There was a paintball place outside Tralee, on the Killarney side, I’d say he’d rent the place out, it has some nice wooded areas and an open filed with a load of pallets and two castles.

Isn't Killorglin where that karting track is?

THAT's the one, my bad. I was there once and I didn't even know I was going there until I was in a kart-seat.

gstarkey78, as I mentioned above, I'm in Limerick if you're stuck for people to skirmish. Thinking about setting up a team down here if I can get a few more heads.

Cool, assuming there's somewhere legal to go there I'll venture down when I get a free weekend. I'll have to find my camo first though, I'm not going to a wooded/grassland area in desert choc chip pattern (again).

    Hi darkgamerdk,
Congratulations on getting your club off the ground. Unfortunately, we don't allow commercial sites to promote / advertise themselves unless it's done in the sites subforum here and there is a small charge for that.

This thread has served us well but sadly it must now go the way of other ancient pearls of wisdom. If anyone feels the need to discuss Airsoft in the south west then feel free to open a new one.

    Thanks, closed.
