Randomly Crashing

    Hi lads.

    Lately my PC has been crashing only when I'm gaming tho.I can get 6mins out of a game before it crashes and i can maybe get a couple of hours of another game before it crashes.If I alt tab out of a game and open maybe 5 links.It crashes.I really don't know what the problem is.

    Current system spec


    Manufacturer:Nvidia

    Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2500+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.8GHz

    Memory:1024MB RAM

    Hard Drive: 200 GB

    Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT

    Monitor: Dell D1025HE

    Sound Card: SB Audigy 2 ZS Audio [9000]

    Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519)

    Something might be over heating, try getting something like Speedfan to monitor the temperatures.

    Check the interior for dust bunnies. Ruu is right - sounds like heat
