    Hi folks.

Looking at Acer Laptops this morning, I have found a few nice models on elara. I came across this amazing spec.
It has everything I want in spades and elara are doing it for around 1k (inc) and latopsdirect.ie are carrying it for €970
Elaras specific spec page is here

If you can spare a moment could you have a look through the spec (it really is cool) What do you think?

Looks good. That processor is the newer version of mine (mine is the t7200). Same clock speed, same cache but higher fsb. It's a great processor and handles everything I throw at it.

I think the cache in elaras build is 2MB, The laptop can handle 4MB, wonder how I could get the 4MB build?

I used to deal with Acer in my previous life, used to sell the kit along with their A-Open brand. The kit was bullet proof, I am talking serious quality. I never had a flitch and I reckon I must have sold over 1000 pc's. So I do have a fondness for the brand.

The cache is dependant on the processor in the laptop. The T7300 has 4MBs of cache (2MBs per core) so no need to worry about that.

    He is very edumacated.

Acer generally have a good reputation around these parts. And if you run into trouble, they are on Boards.ie to help out.

Just research who you purchase from before parting with your hard earned cash.
