Hey just wondering if anyone can tell me whats involved in keeping a gecko as a pet. Im in thailand at the mo and theres loads all over the place and im thinking about getting one when i get back home.

Like is it expensive to have one, whats involved in feeding, cleaning,do you have to give them roaming time on the wall or is a tank ok etc.

    Thanks for your help.

What type gecko?Leopard Geckos are the most common to buy as a pet I think.

    http://www.leopardgecko.com/emcare.html

Check that site out for information,it tells you what you need etc.
The gecko, tank and heating could probably cost you over 150.But you might find a cheap tank or use something else for keeping it in.
After buying those,it wont cost you much to feed it.
