    Was considering putting one of these into my build

    Is it possible to get a card that can receive free to air sattelite (Provided of course I plug it into the dish)? If so what are they called...

    dvb-s tuners, i have a hauppauge one myself (hvr-3000), watched 12 monkeys in HD with it last night on the BBC HD channel :D

    Aha. That will work off any sattelite then? Ours is pointed at the 28.2east one for our free to air box

    You'll get all the same channels as your free to air box... i'm recieving from 28.2east too
