    Hi all,

I have an NTL digital box connected to my PC in one room using a tv card PVR-150 and now in a need to move the PC to the next room in the apartment. Unfortunately the other room does not have an NTL point. What options do I have apart from getting a new point installed?

I am thinking of running a long cable which is cheap but it'll be messy and not so pretty. Moving the point doesn't seem to be an option too. Any other ideas? Will cableless transmitter work with a tv tuner card?

    Marty

If you are 100% sure that other room doesn't have a point(even a blank plate on the wall somewhere) then all NTL could do is the same as you ie run cable from one point into that room. Most apartments will have two feeds so maybe a feed from one point maybe less hassle/messy then the other.
I'd say an AV sender should work ok but I don't use them so maybe someone that does could confirm it for you.

definitely no point the room. i don't really want to spend another holiday and €50 for calling ntl - so i am thinking to run a cable in the house. probably a bit messy but cheap and quick. taxman, is this the right cable for the job?

Yeah that cable would do the job. If you have to split the signal somewhere get something like this type of split. Stay away from those white plastic pieces of crap.
