Agree 99.9999995% with what kdouglas said.

It's all down to personal taste. All the AEG's do pretty much the same thing.

Only big differences is that AEG's with full stocks tend to be able to hold higher capacity batteries which last longer. And of course, shorter, lighter AEG's are better for CQB.

I suggest you do some research yourself. There is a hell of a lot of choice out there with regards to AEG's. Do you want to deal local or not. If so there are 2 outlets in the Republic that can help you otherwise you can go to the UK or HK.

I have done a bit of research and I would like an M-4 or MP-5. What is the quality of the china made AEG's like, say CYMA, Army, Jing Gong and D-Boys? I'm looking at D-Boys M4 CASV and M4 CQB/R, Jing Gong MP5 Navy and M4 S-System but this one might be slightly over the fps limit at 320-340.

    Any help much appreciated.

well before you make any decisions you should try get out to HRTA and try different weapons out and get a feel for each gun, but most ppl have personal preferences ,you should really look up the NEWBIE thread you will find all the answers for starting out ,
i have a Dboys M4A1 find it a great weapon with plently of upgrade options for it ,good rate of fire and decent range
