OSX - Stop iPhoto launching when I instert my memory card

    How do I stop iPhoto launching everytime I insert my memory card ? Switched to Lightroom and iPhoto is annoying me by starting all the time automatically !

    try System Preferences / CDs & DVDs / when you insert a picture CD open iPhoto and change to Lightroom using Open other application.

    open up iPhoto. go to preferences, general. there is an option there called "Connecting camera opens" set that to "No Application" and that should sort it.

    actually you go to "image capture" and then preferences, camera: no application

    and this allowed me to set Lightroom as the app that opens when I insert my memory card. thanks !
