I came across something this today Knight Rider TV Show Back to NBC I dont know if this will fare off better than the last 3 remakes?

Also if someone wants to see how it started off, Virgin1/ftn will be showing it next week in the mornings & late afternoons,

As i dont know yet whether Virgin1 will be available over here?

Will be availble through Sky Digital anyway. Probably ntl too as they carry ftn, which is what Virgin 1 will be replacing.

Watched the first 10 minutes of this pilot and then turned it off. I could tell already it wasn't going anywhere good.

They don't understand that Knight Rider IS The Hoff and William Daniels. I did a retrospective recently and even I can acknowledge now that the original show was garbage. However it was the banter between those two raised it to classic level.

Without those two you've got nothing.

It really is terrible. Television networks should stop remaking tv shows.

I thought the pilot was good for what it was: a remake of a ****ty tv show. You can't really expect too much from it and it was an easy enough way to pass the time.

The thing that I didn't like about the pilot, was that the car didn't jump. The pilot looked nice and "shiny" but apart from that, meh. Even if the Hoff did make
an appearance for about 5 minutes near the end
it doesn't make the pilot that much better.

That'd be pretty much my feeling on this show too. OK for what it is, but no better. Val Kilmer as KITT, that was a bit strange. Not nearly as camp as the original KITT.

It's not as Bad as 'Bionic Woman', but given it's on NBC, I can't see it lasting more than a dozen episodes, if even that much.
