Help me find a scratch DJ IN Cork!!

    Can sombody PLEASE point me in the right direction as i haven't a clue where to look! I'm looking for a DJ who can scratch and do some light sample work for an original, professional band (POP/SOUL/HIP HOP/ROCK). The band will be recording in Douglas BPM studios OCT 15-19, and will do it's debut gig in the OLD OAK, friday 26th of OCT (FRI OF JAZZ WEEKEND).

    A website, phone number, treasure map, anything! Cheers..

    maybe ask some of the nightclubs for their resident dj's numbers.... there is a few hip hop nights where they scratch and not just play a jukebox like alot of places . the savoy has a hip hop night once a week i know... don't know about fast eddies, cubins and redz etc... maybe blue bamboo (forgot what they changed name to)

    NONE of the aforementioned clubs will have a scratch dj. Scratch djs / Hip Hop djs in Cork are hard to come by tbh. Itchi, Justin O Donnell and G Swift are prob the best in Cork. I'll give you some cuts for an EP or something pete but i cant do gigs anymore, i work every weekend

    Jeremy Murphy or DJ Tecknique are the two best scratch DJs in Cork, bar none. And they are not just scratch either, they are just excellent all round. Im sure you can find one or either via myspace.

    I wouldnt say they are the best SCRATCH djs in cork. Two of them are very good hip hop djs but im talking specifically scratching. And Justin, G Swift and Itchi are prob the best scratch djs in Cork.
