if you act maggot online in the chat box, as berating your opponents for lucky outdraws etc....would a site give you bad beats and coolers to
1. get rid of you from their site
2. teach you a lesson

i know it sounds odd but was just wondering

Yes, i got got the cooler button pressed on me before for berating opponents, i had to email them solid for a week to get back to normal. Some days they turn it back on just for kicks.

It sounds odd because it is. Poker sites have better things to do such as counting how much rake they have raped from players.

Not only that but if you ever cash out any money from the site they will panic and hit the "curse" button so you get horrible beats like set over set, AA over KK until you are cleaned out.

Also, site employees are often on tables and they have hacked software that means they can see your hole cards.

I got an e-mail from stars about 10 days ago saying someone had reported me for abuse in the chat box and if I do it again my chat provlages would be suspended.
Since then I have been on downswing. Co-incidence I think not!

To the OP, as 5Starpool said, the sites don't care enough about individual accounts to bother doing anything like this. If you abuse your chat then they'll just revoke your chat priviliges.

As for most the other posts in this thread, they are all just pulling your chain. There are no such things as doom switches or boom switches. I'm going to lock this thread because we've had loads of these types of threads and if you have a dig around the forum you'll find a more detailed one with proper explanations. PM me if you have any problems.
