So what do people make of Jarvis? I must say i'm still so impressed at him. I think his album was possibly the best of last year, the 'comeback' single certainly was.

I loved Pulp. But Jarvis deserves solo credit too and as a songwriter has got to be up there. Plus as a front man, there's few that compare.

And the boys are back in town version...

    Reactions?

album was hit and miss imo, some good tracks though, black magic and ***** are still running the world were brilliant. He is an icon, a one off with a unique vision and one of the best lyricists ever.

I love the man. Always did.Would love to sit and have a pint with him.
    Pulp were fantastic.
The solo album was great, Fat Children is a great tune, lyrics fantastic as usual.
I would love to see him live solo, his appearance at EP didnt warrant me buying a ticket

Never really been a fan and was one of the worst acts I saw at Electric Picnic. There seemed to be plenty of Jarvis fans really enjoying themselves though.

There are 2 Pulp songs I like "This is Hardcore" and "Babies" but thats about it. I know people who like him are very passionate but I just dont get it. Not for me im afraid.

One of my favourite albums of the year. The set at electric picnic was excellent.
