Full-circle rainbow

I saw the most perfect example of one of these today flying into Luton. There was a hard overcast below ("undercast"?) and the sun was shining intensely from above and across, so I could clearly see a vivid double rainbow, with all the colours visible in both circles. I was seated in row 1, so the rainbow was centred on the front of the plane's shadow, making it look like the plane had a halo.

Wish I had a camera - very cool. Anyone else seen any good examples?

Same as I saw last week on a flight to Portugal.

Clear skies as we flew over Cork at approx our full cruising height.

Initially I thought it was refraction on the glass but now after reading your post O.B. I can affirm that it was also a perfectly formed circular rainbow that I also saw.
