Ok,originally a double post. This thread is an advertisement for the up coming Boards Beers V.You honestly didn't think we'd wither away back into the shadows after the Championship and the Summer ended.

Anyway,Boards Beers V kick-starts the new series of Boards Beers as we now focus our attention on the club championships. As you may be aware, there is three games on in Parnell Park (see time and dates below) and all Dubs and non Dubs are invited to the matches and some drinks afterwards in either Kitty Kiernans on Collins Avenue or Kavanaghs on Malahide Road.Venue to be confirmed later.Hope to see you there Tir Eoghan.Maybe Lemlin might show up donning the Brigids colours.

Some interesting pairings in the quarter final of the Dublin SFC.

Ballyboden St Endas v Kilmacud Crokes is the tie of the quarter finals. This pits Nalceds club against Flukeys club.Let the slaggings begin.:D
This match is on at 16:00 Sunday 7th October.

I'm confident St Vincents can put Whitehall Colmcilles away after a tight game against Na Fianna.Rory Trainor best have his free taking boots on.Throw in at 16:00 Saturday 6th Oct.Go on the Vins.

St Brigids v UCD is another potential cliff hanger.I'm going for a UCD win here by a point or two although if Bonner is on form,UCD might get beaten off the pitch. This match is at 14:30 Sunday 7th October.

All three games in Parnell Park.

Finally,in O Toole Park,St Judes play Oliver Plunketts/Eoghan Ruagh.I expect this game to be a complete no-contest if there is to be a one sided match in the quarter finals. This game is at 17:00 Sunday 7th October.

I'll be there in Parnell on both days. All boards members who are going are invited for boards beers v in one of my locals Kitty Kiernans on Collins Avenue or maybe Kavanaghs at the end of Malahide Road. This serves as a warmup for the league boards beers which is quite a while away at this stage.I expect to see the regulars there...yes you know who you are.:D

    Ok I will,over a pint of course.:D

Was just saying on the County Championship threads that the Dubs will have invested interest in the Wicklow Championship as the Dublin Champs play the Wicklow champs.
