I've bought a cheap one of these RS6 boot spoilers on ebay. It wasn't desperately expensive so I decided to have a look- it arrived today and it's dead straight, like an extrusion. Apparently it's made from polyurethane (I have no idea how suitable it's properties are for this purpouse) and it seems to bend into the gentle curve of the boot and it has double sided tape on the bottom.

Do these polyurethane spoilers fit okay and is safe to manipulate them? My panelbeater told me he will bond it on properly and use the double sided tape only to line it up.

A lot of spoilers are made from polyurethane due to its lightweight and durability.

A polyurethane spoiler should fit straight away without any modifications but will be harder to manipulate if needed to compared to a fibreglass spoiler...
