Anyone know where(if?) you can buy Puma Golf Shoes in Dublin? I've been looking at a pair of these:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Puma-Jetsetter-White-Golf-Shoe/dp/B000TPZEI4

But I want to try them on before I buy them to see if they're as comfy as they look

    Cheers
Never seen them anywhere but if it's comfort your after, can't beat Adidas Tour 360 II IMO

they have pumas in various golf shops, mostly at courses though, have seen them at carton house and at leapordstown golf centre for instance.

I'd be against trying them on somewhere and then going back to buy them online though.

I know you said Dublin, but if you are willing to take a drive, the puma outlet in Banbridge had gortex golf shoes for stg£30, which is very good.

Also, imho, you cant beat Footjoy for comfort, stay away from Nike, worst shoes ever!!

If I can get them anywhere here I wouldn't bother getting them online... i want these particular ones though

Goslie... i actually have a pair of Nike at the moment and think they're comfortable enough. They're just filthy now though so I need a new pair.

I think if you are going to visit someones shop, use their facilities and stock access for fit and advice then you should support them by buying from them. It is providing these facilities that often means they can't compete on price with online retailers. This is of course assuming that the price differential isn't ridiculous, which is mostly isn't on the latest gear.

Otherwise we will find in a few years that a lot of bricks and mortar shops will close and we won't have the option.
