Grips

Just wondering what people's opinions on the grips that they use.
I've always used an interlocking grip (Nicklaus grip?) and never really thought about changing. Went down to play 12 holes last night and for the craic I changed to the overlapping grip (dunno what it's called). I didn't really have a reason for doing this, but I was surprised by how well I was striking it, straight and really solid. (This ball strinking may have been nothing to do with the grip and may just be my natural brilliance!!) Was amazed how easy it was to change and I'm serously considering sticking with it.

Just wondering if anyone knows the suposed advantages of each, or have any opinions?

Most people use the overlap grip (Vardon grip).

The interlocking grip tends to result in a overly handsy type of shot for me.

I've never tried the baseball grip.

The overlap grip or vardon is a very good grip the baseball grip otherwise known as the 10 finger grip is also good but beware of the inter lock grip.
It can make you end up with a really strong right hand grip that leads to a hook.

    Hope that helps.
