Just read this... ABC1 is now gone!! and a dam shame as well!
    http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/broadcasting/a76429/disney-pulls-plug-on-abc1.html

I really enjoyed this channel and was always a good one to throw on when nothing else was on, or when the TV was on in the background...
Ah well... nout that can be done about it i suppose.
I wonder if UPC will launch something else to replace it?!

There are so many repeats that viewers will tolerate. I am not sad that it is gone.

UKTV Bright ideas is closing too so that will make 2 channels that have gone from NTL's line up within a month,I'll be very surprised if NTL bring in new channels to replace them,or does anyone know if there are new channels on the way ?

Despite the consensus here, I really don't think UPC bought NTL to run it into the ground. There is surely a bigger picture.

Neither do I, reading all the letters they keep sending me telling me how great the company will be in a few months but they haven't added anything new or good for a long time and UPC just seem to be concentrating on their phone and broadband rather than their main business of TV.
