Should I Buy a PS3

    Hi, I am strongly thinking of getting a PS3. There are just a couple of things I want to clear up before I do. I'm not a huge gamer and would be using the PS3 more for Blu Ray and as a media centre than for actual games (although it will def be used for games too).

    I see linux been mentioned as a second os on the ps. Is this hard to install?

    I currently have an external network 500 gb hd at home which my laptop can connect to wirelessly and play movies / music from. Will I be able to do this with the playstation before linux is installed or only after? The video formats are .avi and divx. Music is mp3.

    Lastly I see virgin currently have a deal that you get a ps3, 2 games from a choice of 5 and 3 blu ray dvds from a choice of 5 for € 620. Can this be beaten. From my quick research I havent seen a better deal.

    cant play divx or xvid on ps3 os but can stream it from pc to play it now so no need to convert all the files linux was fine to install need to format and part hd,
    so if you plan on doing it do it at the start it
