Hi Guys looking to perfect my short game over the winter. Dont mind going to the range to chip away. The thing that has me stumped is where to test out my putting. I know the range in the airport has a putting and chipping green but you have to be a member to use it?
Any where else that I can do this sort of thing to a decent quality in Dublin.

    Cheers Lads.

Maybe a bit far to travel (as you appear to be near the airport) but National Academy in Carton house is a good bet - they've chipping and short game areas - worth a try

Leopardstown has an all weather chipping and putting green. You have to pay for this but not sure how much.

Yeh I am based in Swords. Carton House I heard about, but I believe if you go at the weekend it is very busy.

Have you ever played the 9 hole par 3 in Malahide castle Access is beside the cricket grounds and tennis courts. Only €6 a round. Greens aren't too bad as it doesn't get overused

They also have a short 18 hole pitch and putt at €4 a round .

This is a bit Irish, but you could probably just walk into most clubs and use their green. I'd doubt anyone will say anything to you, once yuo look like your abuot to head out playing.

I would agree with you. I say most clubs wouldn't even bat an eyelid at you
