The Colour Copy Centre on Pembroke street just off Leeson street do a decent job, usually fairly good at adjusting colour etc. to get a good copy whatever size you need. They use a scanner and Photoshop (I think) rather than photographic methods, and I've been happy with the few copies they've done for me.

    You could try McG Digital, 3 Georges St., Dublin 2 01 6165200 01 6165222

They did some work for me about 4 years ago.
Give them a call first and put your questions to them.

also - the photostore in Blanchardstown shopping centre do this - although i'm not vouching for how good or not they are. Their normal digital photo developing is pretty good though (i have found).

I did hear them one day having an ethical difficulty with some lady and her desire to have some wedding photos blown up. Their problem was that the photographer hadn't given permission. Nice to see them respecting the pro's out there but understandably the punter was a little dissatisfied. If your pictures are old photo's then you shouldn't have this difficulty though - but just be ready for it should it arise.

This is going to be an increasing problem I think. I've seen Harvey Norman staff have a similar conversation too with someone who wanted to print a pro picture onto canvas...
