Extremely experienced bassist available for full time bands and/or part time session work. I’ve played in the following genres; blues, thrash, funk, trad, reggae, electro, indie, metal, prog, etc. I’ve done session work, played with innumerable live bands and written and arranged music for theatres.

If you’re looking for a substitute/session guy, I have an excellent feel for dynamics and know how to draw the best out of a piece.

If you’re looking to write original material, I play melodic finger style bass with a lot of unorthodox approaches (though I don’t like to slap!) – I write on bass and so I play a lot of chords/melodies/counterpoint in songs. I use four and five string basses, and my tone can range from soft deep reggae (e.g. Aston “Family Man” Barrett -Bob Marley), to bright and crystalline (e.g. Justin Chancellor – Tool), to punchy and groovy (e.g. Tim Commerford – RATM) to a heavily distorted roar (e.g. a Dinosaur that stubbed its toe). What ever genre you play, if you want an original voice on bass, give me a shout.

    Hi,
I do not know how you can be extremely experienced if you are 22 but things happen.
It is nothing personal but people talking a lot and can do nothing when we play jam session.
We are looking for bas player to join a band if we play some gigs and sometimes for home recording.
I think about myself as totally amateur.
    Check us on www.myspace.com/blindsking
There are 2 songs and no vocal on.
