Just to let all 360 gamers know, you can get FORZA 2 with a controller for €45 in Harvey Normans. can anyone beat that price?

Is it an official wireless controller?

    Thanks for the info.

Which branch did you see that offer in? Do you know if it applies in all branches?

It was in Mullingar branch but im sure they will all have that offer.
It is an official pack like the PGR3+controller was before.

    Is it wireless or wired?

not to sure its in a packaged bundle, still its cheap for the game on its own, I paid €55 for forza 2 and €45 for a wireless controller about 2 months ago:mad:

This doesn't show it as a "package" as such, but does show it as a wireless controller, and does show that the HN price is a frickin bargain!

Shur buy it for the controller, and sell the game if it's not your bag!;)

the game is fairly poor i reckon. worth it if you need another controller though

I was in the Swords branch today and was informed that you can only avail of this bundle deal if you buy a Xbox 360 at the same time. :(

got one today in Harvey norman in Dundalk.
It says on the box that it is supposed to be sold with an xbox 360 console...

Got one in HN in Cork for €45 was the last one though I think, it does state on the box only to be sole with a console but the box also had a price sticker and barcode on the price sticker so they've obviously decided to start selling them separately and it's definitely the wireless controller in the box.

That is probably bad communication with staff, they more than likely will take away this offer soon and only sell it with the xbox. A simular problem in currys which got me a really cheap premium 360 was, €260 with splinter cell, pro evo and an extra remote. Considering the 360 was a lot dearer at the time. The offer actually was when bought with any 32" telly or over. The offer has been taken away now.

    ^^ What he said!

Checked in HN Limerick today - When I asked first, I was told the price was €49.99 for Forza and the controller (none on display so checkout operator had to ring the stores). When I went to buy one, she came back and said it was only for with a new Xbox console.

Miscommunication - you gotta love it!

Thanks to the OP anyway and well done to those who got one! PM me if you got two!! :)

All that really has to be done is to go to a HN and find a not so bright member of staff and ask them for it. Im sure it would work.

Ye those packs can't be sold on their own. They come with a bundle.

    very good deal.

for thoses who dont like the game and only want the joypad., my brother rencently brought this game into gamestop and they gave him 38euro, so for anyone that was lucky enough to find this offer in HN if you trade in the game it means you will have a wireless controller for 7euro!?

*there might be one snag tho and im not sure how it actualy works about trading in games as i dont own an xbox / any console, But if a game that you are trading in says bundle package on the barcode will the still give you top dollar?

*Can anyone who got this offer from HN confirm if there is a normal barcode on the game case or does it say part bundle.

By law they should'nt even be reselling them, but Gamestop don't seem to mind at all.
The preowned bundle copy of PGR3 I bought from them was a lot cheaper than the standard version they had, so I assume they buy them for less as well...

No difference in xtra-vision. you'll get the same price either way.
