Whats the best way to have sky setup in a office, need to have about 10 different screens, each being able to show different channels at the same time.

Sky said this can't be ordered directly from them? anyone know a good installer in the greater dublin area?

Will i need 3 dishes and 10 skyboxes?

Does Sky have a SME section which can deal with this sort of thing?? I'd be suprised that Sky would turn away business custom like that to independent installers. I'm probably missing out on something here.

It can be done with one dish. Do you want to watch 10 specific channels or be able to watch the full basic lineup on 10 different screens??

If it's the former, you could use cheap FTA boxes if the channels in question are unencrypted.

Sky will supply the boxes for their pay tv service. To set this up you need a single dish with 4 cables going to a mutiswitch set up feeding as many receivers as you need for your choice of channels. Have you decided on a channel line up as this will dictate how many and what type of satellite box/boxes you need.

you need to get in contact with sky business/commercial. they will provide you with a list showing all channels available and next to each channel is a cost for that individual channel. you choose the 10 channels you require add up the cost per week/month. once you have the paperwork done sky will send you 10 viewing cards, each card will have one channel activated on it. you can provide your own boxes or get them from sky. obviously this is if you require 10 subscription channels.

Lots of companies make 16 output multiswitch that work with single Quad or Quattro LNB.
You only need Sky boxes and subs (and view cards) for the pay channels. The free channels can use a basic €70 FTA box.

Oh, and a sub from Sky for your office per box (presumably) is €185/month. Ouch. And you don't get a lot of channels from the entertainment section...
