Inspiron 6400 DVD Drive Noise

    Hi,

    recently, with some DVD's, my Inspiron's DVD drive makes a horribly loud spinning noise while playing. Its actually too loud to hear the film sometimes. When I push the drive in slightly with my finger it seems to stop it, so I presume it must have gotten knocked loose somehow. This ever happened to anybody?

    A friend of mine seems to believe its due to copyright protection on the disk, but since it plays back instead of just stopping, i'm not so sure.
