    Hi,

I'm new to all this satellite lark having got one of the Lidl satellite dishes. Thanks for all the useful info on the Lidl thread btw, guys.

Anyway, all up and running nicely now without too much fuss, tuned successfully to Astra 19.2 and getting lots of nice German channels for the girlfriend who is from there.

But, we'd also like to get the UK channels which seem to be mainly broadcast on Astra 28.2 and it ain't possible to get both at the same time with a single, unmotorised dish. (Shout if this is incorrect).

So, can anyone suggest another satellite we could repoint at which would be a compromise choice with some UK channels and some German channels please? If we could get the basic channels from both areas we'd be very happy! :D

Or any other suggestions, preferably re. the satellite setup, rather than the relationship?! ;)

    Thanks,

    Maz

If you can get a suitable bracket for the lidl dish you can add a second lnb for astra 2 using a two way diseq switch, failing that you would have to change the dish to a triax or similar brand that supports a multi lnb bracket.
