Front page only part loading

    For the last fewe minutes the front page has only been part loading - the top horizontal bit are OK, but the stuff below the 'Home Adverts Albums Blogs Forums Messages Podcasts Search Signup Web' bar wasn't showing at all in IE and FF.

    IE 7.0.5730.11

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.8.1.5) Gecko/20070713 Firefox/2.0.0.5

    Currently Active Users: 455 (39 members and 416 guests)

    Yea, same here.

    On both IE6 & IE7.

    IE6 on Win2k.
    IE7 on XP.

    I did find that if I went to my subbed list sometimes the page appeared.

    Indeed, it was dying on me at times yesterday showing the message:

    "Got Error 12 from Storage Engine" Link

    Looks like you'll need a 64 bit OS to take advantage of those 16 Gigs of RAM regi :)

    This happened a few times last night, the status bar in Opera showed adverts.ie linkage hanging, dunno if thats relevent.

    I just logged in a while ago, in a cafe and it did a similar thing, but much quicker. The top section loaded instantly and then 2-3 seconds later the lower sections.

    This has been happening to me, at different times, on different computers, on different connections. About 2 or 3 times a week.

    Happening again over the last half hour or so.

    IE 6, WinXP SP2.

    Something similar. Loaded the front page, similiar to the above, but the usual "Waiting for http://www.boards.ie/&quot; line showing instead of "Done". It wasn't working very fast, so I refereshed, went of to the toilet and it still hadn't loaded when I came back. Again refresh failed. I went to http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/usercp.php and back tot he front page and it loaded.


    This is the last paft of the source when it was stuck on "Waiting for http://www.boards.ie/&quot;
