    EyeTV has just been updated to v2.5 with some nice new features including the ability to watch your recordings remotely over the net.

    Ooooh, happy happy days... mind you, I only use it for Ps3 MediaServer, and RemotePlay takes care of that (with the PSP)..

    Now for some native Xvid and Divx support please elgato..? f€ck that DNLA stuff.. :p

    HAPPIER DAYS! Just discovered it has to be used with the BRAND-NEW EyeConnect 1.5 which improves PS3 playback! At last! Get DOWN! Get FUNKY!

    Hmm, I now notice that it just allows *local* wi-fi streaming -I thought it was over a browser to anywhere in the world. I don't quite see the point -why would you want to watch recorded TV on the iPhone when you're already in your own home?

    If I want to watch a programme recorded on my iMac on my MacBook, say in bed, I simply access the iMac via network, navigate to the the eyeTV archive, double click on the file and it appears on the MacBook. Simple -and full quality.

    I like this update! I will probably never use any of the new features but for some reason it seems to have resolved my ghosting issue when watching football or hurling on my exteral monitor. In other words I won't be buying a new one and it's saved me €300 :D
