I just wanted to clarify something. When using a combiner and splitter (i.e. combine signal from 2 boxes RF out and use amp/splitter to send signal to other TV's) do you just tune in the reception from each of those combined boxes on 2 seperate channels and then use your Sky remote and TVLink to change the channels? Thanks!

yep depending on the way you do that you can but both boxes will change at the same time from whathever room you use the remote in. what you need is a SPC4 which will combine both boxes as you have described and allow you to control both boxed independent of each other.

    SPC2 to SPC4 my mistake.

    That's exactly what I have

Which I then feed into a Global Gomms F180 to distribute the signal throughout the house and a TVLink attached to each TV. So from what you're saying, once this is all set up, I can use the controller to independantly control either box on any TV in the house once it is tuned into the signal from that box? I take it each controller will only be able to control 1 specific box though?

that is correct, one small mistake in my original post that should have said SPC4 no the SPC2

How do you actually programme the remote to work on a specific box?

the first box is connected to port 0 the other box can go on any of the other ports. by pressing TV then holding the select and blue button until the led flashes twice, then press the number on the remote that matches the port number of the SPC e.g if your box is in port 0 press 0 if its in port 4 press 4 then press select.
