Is it possible to use magic eye on more than one tv. Ok with cable from sky box to second tv, can I take a connection off this cable to a third tv?
    Thanks

yep, you have two choices, you can install a link amplifier with either however many outputs you require(either powered from the cable feed or mains) or you can use a bi directional power splitter. note that if using passive splitters this will weaken the signal slightly.

Is there anywhere on the web I can see the powered splitter you mentioned?

They are not powered splitters, they are passive splitters that have a uni directional power pass. I never looked on the web for them so dont know where they are, but i will send you one to look at if you like, PM me.

    Im using one of these:
    http://www.best-stuff.co.uk/slx6.htm
to split the terresterial TV as it comes into the house into 4 different rooms in the house. Can I also use it to send the Sky signal from the RF2 output to the other rooms? (and then use a magic eye/tv link thing to control the sky box)

Looks like you need a bypass kit to do that, maybe easier just to replace the amp with a sky compatible amp but the digibox must be used as the feed to the amp IE you feed your terrestrial into the sky digibox first then to the amp

    Thanks for that.
So if I get a link amplifier, I just run a short cable from sky+ box to that and then two cables to the points I want? Ball park what price region these in ?

Is a passive splitter just basically a a standard splitter/joiner?
Could you expand if possible on the bi directional power splitter?

Thanks, sorry for all the new questions.

you can put the link amplifier behind the box if you wish and run the extention cables from there, or if it is a two story house and the extra TV's are upstairs (and the box downstairs) you can run a single cable to the attic and put the link amplifier there. 2 way links are around 25-30e the splitter is a metal two way splitter with red lines on the cover going to each of the outputs. these cost around 9-15 euro, you can also use them in reverse and control two sat boxes (sky and Sky plus) that are in two seperate rooms with the Sky eye in another room.
