For the next year or so, the only reliable internet connection I'll have access to will be behind a firewall which blocks out just about everything except web traffic (i.e. port 80).

Does anyone know of a poker site which would be able to run on a set-up like this? Sorry if this is a commonly-asked question, but I had a look around the forum and couldn't see it answered anywhere.

IIRC you can connect to stars on 80/443 you might need to adjust a config file.

Also I think there is some web based sites Google might be a bit more helpful than me as I is lazy.

    Hi There,

Perhaps the Betdaq Poker 'browser version' might work for you? It should work if the firewall does not block pop-ups. If it does block them then try holding down ctrl and clicking the browser link.

NB: You will need java installed to be able to run it. Also, the first time you run the browser version it will take a few minutes to load and will just appear as a blank white screen.

Let me know how you get on.

    Ross Glacken.

I think Pokerroom is web based. You can also try using a tunneling application such as httptunnel.
