Touchpad problem

    Well I have A Latitude D600 for work and its starting to bug me, when I press the keyboards buttons when typing the cursor moves around the screen of its own accord. Anyone know what the problem is??

    Remove the front power switch panel and then unscrew the screws retaining the keyboard.
    This will give you access to the touchpad and keyboard connection wire to motherboard. Remove them and reseat them and see if their any change.
    Try plugging in an external keyboard and mouse and see do the symptoms re-occurr aswell.

    Got it sorted, had to change the keyboard from another system we have in work!!
