    Haven't seen it on RTE in a while. Have they finished with it or what?

    No there just hasn't been much on RTE sports-wise for it to be on. I'm sure if RTE had the rugby they'd appear.

    I wish the rugby was on RTE. TV3 don't seem to be showing any other matches bar the Irish games.

    Setanta bought the rights to show the games. TV3 are only showing the Irish games because they have to be shown on terrestrial telly.

    They'll be showing the semis and final though I think.

    They've probably stopped showing Apres Match after the football games for the same reason Spitting Image was cancelled. If the people that you're supposed to be parodying have in fact become a parody of themselves it becomes a bit of a pointless exercise.

    Oh, that's the real "Dumb-phy and Gilesy show" with supporting roles by O'Herlihy and Brady, that I've been watching of late. I have been completely fooled! ;-)

    Oh my word!!

    And there was me thinking that:

    Dumphy: "Can you drive a train Bill from Dublin to Cork?"
    (swivelling a pretend steering wheel)
    O'Herlihy: "I wasnt trained for the job of a TV presenter".


    were scripted comedy ...... ;-)

    AFAIK TV3 have rights to 2 quarter-finals, 1 semi-final & the final. I think.

    And aprés match only seem to be wheeled out now for the tournaments, world cups & european championships...

    The difference between Apres Match and the RTE soccer panel is that Apres Match is actually funny
