The exploding shark was from the 1966 film (I have the DVD :p), it has some good special features on it.

Jesus, how ridiculous was that exploding shark scene, eh? :D

From "Bat Ladder" (everything was bat-somethingorother with them, wasn't it? ;):D ), to a completely obvious rubber shark to the explosion at the end, how crazy was that whole scene, eh? You'd know it was a product of the Sixties anyway........... because the writers must have been completely out of their heads on LSD or something when they came up with that script! :D

*edit* Just looked at the surfing clip. Christ, that's nearly worse! What the hell were those guys smoking, eh? :D

Season 3 batman is some of the worst tv ever. That scene is the perfect example of how far the show went from its ironic and subversive origins to just being pure tedious mush.

I think Batman is second only to V in terms of "shows that not just jumped the shark but that were completely unrecognisable by the time they ended."

Basically check out season 1+2 of batman. They're still a lot of fun.
