    Hi everyone :)

Bit of a strange one here, but you might be able to help.

Firstly, are there any club games ongoing at the moment?

If so, I'm looking for a game to film for a project myself and a friend are taking up.

What we need is a match that is taking place in a ground where there is either a hill close enough to the action, preferable along one of the sidelines, or a gantry to film from.

Thanks in advance for any help,

    Des

Des are you in Dublin? The Fingallians pitch in Swords has a bank along one side of the pitch for spectators - might be suitable for filming from. Its only September so there should be plenty of games on every weekend...

Tell us what county you want the game and you'll get a game.

Try Rovers ground in Tallaght (sorry Des....)

Does it have to be a hill? Why not try for Parnell Park? In the coming weeks there'll be plenty of matches there. Failing that, Iveagh Grounds? Most of the bigger clubs will havee gantries/raised areas (on clubhouses for example). I recall that Eirins Isle had a mound along one aide of the pitch, dont know if it's still there.

    Yeah, Dublin.

Sorry folks, I should have specified.

    OK thanks for that.

I'm North Soyid, so Swords is a good location.

er....best to leave that one lie I reckon, jaysis. (feckin' Thomas Davis:mad: )
Does it have to be a hill?
Nope it doesn't have to be a hill, just raised.
Why not try for Parnell Park? In the coming weeks there'll be plenty of matches there.
Yeah, we were thinking about Parnell Park alright, who looks after access there, is it the Dublin County Board or Craobh?
    Failing that, Iveagh Grounds?
Is there an Astro pitch there, I know the place alright, I didn't notice any raised or hilly area near the grass pitch though.

I forgot the GAA Clubs are drowning in money, of course they all have lovely clubhouses. We'd probably get a cup of tea too.
I recall that Eirins Isle had a mound along one aide of the pitch, dont know if it's still there.
    Where is Eirins Isle?

    Finglas is it?

Thanks lads, some good advice here, keep it coming.

Eirins Isle is Finglas, Des, but it's donkeys since I've been to a club game in Dublin. I do know that the business end of the Club Championship (and any big derby's) are played in PP. Give the board a ring - hint, number isnt on the website (www.hill16.ie) but 11811 know what it is.

Des, Ballyboden will be playing Kilmacud Crokes in Parnell Park in 2 weeks time in the championship and im sure another game will be on that day also. If you want to tape Boden get creamed (well, hopefully they wont :) ) that could be a good one. Your into the quarter finals of the championship now so there will be a good few on in Parnell from here on id say.
