Sky+ new customer, question about free month

    I rang today about downgrading after which i thought was 2 weeks so's i dont get billed for extra month!

    I was told that my billing date is on the 7th & went live date was on the 12th? (whats that.)
    I have to ring back on the 12th as the system wont allow downgrading on the free month & i will get reimbursed on what i owe when downgrading!

    That sounds a lot diff than what i was told, just ring after 2wks to downgrade?

    You must have registered your Sky Viewing card on the 12th? I registered mine on 27th August, i phoned up last week and was told that my "bill" has already been drawn so i'll get hit with a €68 charge for the full pack - i can ring on 27th Sept and downgrade, but i'll have full pack until 27th October....

    The card was activated on the 7th when the installer came & paired up the card (which took a lot of time to a point in where he was gonna go :eek: )

    I had called sky about 10 days previous & set it up & then wait for that date & theyre the only dates i know!
