    no. 4 is the standout shot there. no. 3 looks great - love the light - but doesn't seem balanced. i'd play around with a different crop. still, lovely stuff.

    Magic, you're right about the balance - thanks for that - I just rotated, re-cropped and replaced it on flick but I don't think the embedded image here is updating.

    Danny, you must deign to come down into Dublin one day and come for a wander round with me, our two canon 100mm lenses in unison :) There's still a huge amount of colour there, I thought it would all be died off by now but nooo... :D

    No 2 is fantastic elven... really nicely balanced, very delicate treatment (as if there was no camera involved)... looks more like an illustration!
