dying for this gig, but has anyone heard any word on how good he is live? everything i've heard is pretty amazing - could be too good to be true by the sounds of it

Are you talking about the Rakim gig? It's a support slot with scroobius pip. Or has Le Sac got a solo dj slot.

Saw them at EP they were great. Crappy sound aside they were a highlight of the wknd.

Didn't hear anything about a solo slot, so I hope it is. Saw them at the Picnic and aside from the mentioned sound problems they were brilliant. Really looking forward to their album now.

haven't seen him live, just saw his stuff on youtube. very funny. :)
there's a comp on myspace to win tkts to his and other's gigs if you feel like being creative.

ticketmaster have this down as a solo show now, and there's no mention of rakim playing...

anyone have any idea of what's going on here?

yeah bit of a blow about rakim, but it'll be well worth seeing le sac get a full slot. hope he can rise to the challenge, but by the sounds of it he'll do alright

Sorry to be pedantic, but it's not just dan le sac. And it'll def be worth it, at 14euro you can't go wrong!

Scary Eire? You've got to be kidding me! Is that the nationalist rap group who supported the Beastie Boys in the Tivoli back in '94?

Surely you've got to support the pseudo-nationalism? Should we stand for the anthem when the bar closes too?

Hmm, I missed Dan and Scroobius at the picnic, might just have to go to this.

From what I saw at the Picnic they are well worth the headline bill. Sadly the sound down there was terrible.

BTW Le Sac confirmed on his blog that they are headline now as Rakim pulled out.

Brilliant gig! Scary Éire were an excellent support and Dan le Sac and Pip were on great form. Really wish an album was on its way. Prince cover at the end was a highlight!

    What a gig!
Missed the support but I wasn't too pushed on them anyway,
Scroobius Pip's spoken word stuff is really really good and Dan le Sac needs to do a DJ night over here sometime soon!

BTW, just saw on their myspace that they were selling merch at their recent UK tour. Anyone spot any last night? They have t-shirt transfers which say 'just A Band' on them that you can stick onto any old band t-shirt would would be cool!

Great Act, i loved the Rakim verse at the end of thou shalt always. Someone got a video of Beat that my heart skipped, hope it makes it to youtube.
