Ok, I'm meeting an old friend in Dublin next weekend. We wanna do something fun but there are 3 awkward stipulations.

    1. It has to be during the day
    2. It has to be cheap
    3. We would prefer if no drinking was involved (our livers are already quite overworked hence the low funds)

Any suggestions? I have no clue. My social skills end after pubs, gigs and playing football.

You start an emo march from central bank to Stephen's Green. Your friend starts an arts student march from Stephen's Green to central bank. Would feck with the heads of many.

National history museum or the national art gallery are both good days out...in fact with the museum you'd really want a few days to do it justice.

Ah yes, the age old conundrum!
The zoo is always a bit of craic. Not sure how cheap admission is, but bring a picnic (ie. a few sangers in a bag) and you'll avoid paying through the teeth for food there.

Got my thinking cap on, will be back if i think of anything else...

EDIT: oooh...museums are good too. Make sure you pick something that has potential conversation starters (animals or historic artefacts will suffice!)

If the whale skeleton on the ceiling doesn't get a conversation started, then you should check for a pulse and/or call 999...

Actually the Natural History Museum is still closed. No sign of it opening up any time soon after that accident.

The National Gallery is a great place to wander round, nice little coffee shop in there too. Wonderful building too. :)
