Family Guy and the Simpsons both start back in the tonight, as does Cold Case.

Two and a Half Men is back tomorrow night.

House is back on Tuesday as are Bones, The Unit and Boston Legal.

Thursday sees the return of my Name is Earl, ER and Grey's Anatomy while the spin-off show, Private Practice premieres on Wednesday along with the new seson of Criminal Minds.

American Dad is back next Sunday and so is Desperate Housewives.

It's safe to say that the summer is over which can only mean one(good) thing - the return of decent television.

Unfortunately I can find very little on when most of these show will make it over here. If anyone knows post the info here.

All I care about is that South Park is back in 10 Days 13 Hours 30 Minutes. That countdown is from another site, I don't have a timer. But huzzah for new southpark soon!

All the CSI's are back as is Heroes. So is The Office, Dexter and Brotherhood. My internet connection will cry when it sees how busy it will be :).

It really is a shame that we only get certain shows that RTE,Sky or Living feel like buying. Mind you if I lived in America I'd probably be in front of the tv all the time.

I completely forgot South Park. Blimey between college, the RWC and all these shows I will have a very busy (and let's be honest sad) week or two ahead.

    The Office 4.01 "Fun Run"

In the hour long season four premiere, Michael hosts a Fun Run for the Scranton Business Park. A freak accident leads him to believe the office is cursed, and he questions his employees' religious beliefs. The office relationships are also explored, with Pam and Jim's new romance and Dwight and Angela's continuing relationship.

    Oh yeah.

Download the tv over the internet. That's how I would do it.

Lots of software that can read in TV signals and record them to your HD - SkyPlus is pretty much a glorified HD with some software sitting on top of it (perhaps a bit simplified but you get the gist).

Other people - not me of course - could get AVIs, about 350m for one "hour" show that were put on the web by people who used a TV capture card, in the States, to record and encode a TV show in a file format that's viewable by anyone with media player. Of course nobody on boards would partake in this vile practice.

get the 750 WD because it only costs a couple of € extra and you get an extra 250gb.

There is allot more new shows besides those listed. but yes things are getting very good again i was starting to lose my mind.

Got a 500gb external hard drive myself recently for the same reason :D

It's an extra €70 (50%) for an extra 250G (50%) so nothing special, though 750G would hold that much extra so would be nice. I just bought these. 1TB for under €200, should outlast most of the new series, many of which will, sadly, be canceled :(

Looking forward to Journeyman, Chuck, Bionic Woman (curious to see if it'll go the distance), plus the return of SGA, Dex, Brotherhood, Southpark and a whole host of others too numerous to mention. My CAT has been looking rather barren these last few months, starting to pick up now though.

bugger, spoiler would have been handy there but it's my own fault. I'm watching it on channel 6 (not sure is it s3 at the moment).

Anyone having trouble getting weeds from their american cousins? Customs are stopping the parcels at 97 and a bit % ;)

The Family Guy Star Wars episode was ok, funny Dr. Who reference, aside from that nothing special.

Anyone notice what the did to the Simpsons, I'd post the spoilers but I don't know how to hide them.

TO use spoilers, just use the [.SPOILER] insert spoiler here [./SPOILER] tags. Remove the stops of course.

I think both are well past their sell by date, there's only so many stories you can hash out before it becomes insanely repetitive and unfunny.
