I've a lump on my face outside of my beard growth area...(its not really a mole, wells its not a coloured mole if you understand) but its now at the stage where it needs shaved and its only goin to get worse as the area around it is now also starting to get hairy and it doesnt look right.

    anyone any adice please ?

Can the hair follicles be permanently removed in a case like this ?

Doctor should be able to remove it for ya or refer ya somewhere that will.

Go to a doctor and get it checked out. Find out for certain whether it's a mole or not.

ANY unexpected lumps ANYwhere on your body should be checked out.

As per above- go and have it checked by a doctor- immediately!!!

last two posts would be frightning for op.. a mole is a mole.. only when it grows extremely rapidly you have to have it checked out.
moles and other lumps and bumps will appear on the body all the time especially the older y get.

i've always had the wee lump (think i can rule out mole here) thing is though i shaved over it once and now the growth of hair on it has got quite bad both on it and around it...

i just wondered if there was some kind of safe product that could be used to permanently solve this minor problem ?

    Goto doctor/dermatologist.
