It is a Tosh..so good start. Good GFX too. But at that price xVAT there are Better Sonys. Or even the Dell Vostro at half the price. But it is a very good one you have choosen!!

Do you need that much of a HD given the external storage available in this day and age?

    Go Dell EPP

    Enter 777 then N0917003

    Base Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7300 Processor (2.0GHz,800MHz,4MB L2 cache)
Microsoft Operating System Genuine Windows Vista® Business - English

    Memory 2048MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024)
Hard Drive 160GB (5400RPM) SATA Hard Drive
    Video Card 256MB nVidia® GeForce® 8600M GT
Optical Devices Fixed Internal 8X DVD+/-RW Drive including Software
Primary Battery Primary 9-cell Lithium-Ion Battery (85 WHr)

    OTHER OPTIONS
    Modem 56.6k V.92 Capable Internal Modem & Adapter - Ireland/Spain

    ACCESSORIES
Bluetooth Dell™ Wireless 355 Bluetooth 2.0 Module (up to 3Mbps)
    Wireless Networking Intel® Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-Card - Europe edit
Microsoft Application Software Microsoft® Works 8.0 - English edit

Price = 1,124.09 all in... VAT and carriage.

The screen size is better. The CPU/RAM Same.. the GFX is very good (google it..can play FEAR) but the one in the Tosh is better. Both have Series N wireless and blue tooth

Given what you are prepared to spend.. you could get better CPU's/Warranty/Accidental coverage etc from Dell.

It really depends what you want it for?

If you have that much to spend and it is a desk top replacement the world is your oyster at that price. Be it Sony..a Dell XPS.. Tosh or what every. I'd rather spend the extra on a warranty tbh.

Good luck with your research. Your head will be wreacked :)

Head will be wrecked is right ... so many options !

I liked this one for the screen andHDDVD. But i suppose if im being honest i dont need that much HDD space.

Also, im not much of a gamer but am getting into it more and more , so this one seems to fit the bill.

Do you think it would play Crysis or will any laptop for that matter ?

    Cheers for the detailed reply

Your best bet is to take the game/GFX and figure it out. I dunno that game. Sorry!

Just search the Tosh GFX. Down the side some where.

    I think this is yours...
