I'll be going to Aus for a while in a few weeks and will need to rring the GF every couple of days, is this going to cost me a fortune?

Whats the chepeast way? If i bring my skype phone can it be used in internet cafes (although there will be privacy issues!).

Don't see the need to bring your skype phone. Most internet cafes will have skype downloaded and have headsets you can use. Don't know how to help you with your privacy issues!

you can buy $5 phone cards in most shops (7 eleven etc) which will give you about 100mins (if i remember correctly) of calls to an irish land line.
