Up to now I've had my Ferguson FTA receiver working fine. I've had a feed straight from the dish to the LNB in port on the receiver and I've hooked the receiver up to the telly via scart cable. It worked fine only its a flatscreen TV on a wall and I dont want wires visible anywhere around it.

What I've done is I've mounted the FTA receiver up near the ceiling on a shelf across the room from the tv. Its too far away for the scart to reach obviously so I took a feed from the RNF out port on the receiver and brought it to the ANT IN port on the tv. After searching for a signal on the tv it found the signal coming from the sat receiver, only theres all picture no sound.

Anyone out there understand why I've no sound?

go into the settings menu of the FTA box and check that the audio standard is set to PAL I and not PAL B/G no harm to check the same on the channel you tuned it to on the TV if that does not work.
