    Hey,
I'd really love to do this but was told by some people(who've never been) that most hostels close from around October to March. Anyone who's travelled during this period any info on this, like is finding accomodation hard and will there be many other travellers like in summer months as I'm most likely going on my own. And any other you might have, feel free to throw it in because I'm clueless about it all at the moment.

    Thanks.
    Skell.

Its really busy in Asia during our winter months. Thats when Aussies are on their school/college hols. Thousands of them head for Asia.
I was in Asia from Nov-March and didnt have too much trouble getting accomodation at all. It was busier in general than it was when I was there 3 years ago, but theres also way more places to stay too so had no probs.
