How to transfer from video recorder to PC?

    Hi all I have some home videos that I'd like to upload to my PC. Is this at all possible?

    I'm sure there must be an adaptor of some sort which allows this but I'm not very knowledgeable about these things so I was hoping someone on here could help me out.

    I have one of these. It will do the job for you.

    As a bonus, it will also allow you watch TV on your PC. :)
